PTA's Spring Scholastic Book Fair

Thanks to the hard work of the PTA for conducting our Spring Scholastic Book Fair from February 24 until February 28. Because of our wonderful parents, students, staff, and community members that supported our school by purchasing books for their children and for the classes, we had our most successful Book Fair ever! Alhamdoulillah, we are so proud of this great accomplishment and of everyone's dedication to reading and learning. A big thanks also goes out to Br. Tanvir Moosa and his restaurant Family Kitchen for catering our Breakfast with Parents on Thursday.

3rd & 4th Grades Field Trip to the Musuem of Natural Science

3rd4thFieldTripOur 3rd and 4th grade students had a great time on their field trip to the Museum of Natural Science on February 25th. They learned about butterflies, energy, Texas Tea (oil), Sea shells, and animals in Africa. They throughly enjoyed their educational ride in the Geovater and enjoyed watch the 3-D movie titled Mysteries of the Unseen World. They capped off their trip with a nice workout at Eldridge Park.

5th - 8th Grades Field Trip to see movie "Palestine"

Our upper grades had a great opporunity to watch the 3-D educational movie Palestine at the Wortham IMAX Theatre inside the Museum of Natural Science. They had such a great time learning about the Holy Land of the last 3 religions and saw why this land has so many people fighting over it. They enjoyed the movie so much, they highly recommend everyone to go see it while it is still showing.
